SLAY Spatula - Sustainable Skincare Spatula
- Description
Don't like sticking your finger into things? We get it.
Our gold SLAY spatula keeps your product clean and is a reusable long lasting alternative to cheap plastic options that break easily.
It is made from zinc alloy and is 100% recyclable.
How to use
- Use the spatula to lift a small amount of cream or lotion from a jar or tin.
- You can then transfer the product onto the back of your hand or directly onto your face and neck.
- Always ensure the spatula is clean before use to prevent contamination.
For use with our sunscreen:
- 1 small scoop with the SLAY spatula may give you 1/8 tsp.
- Use at least 2-3 scoops for adequate UV coverage.
- Use more if blending with brush as some sunscreen may stick to the brush.
We strongly encourage you to compare with a 1/4 tsp measuring spoon to know exactly how much to use for adequate UV coverage. It's alot more than you think!
SUNSCREEN PSA:
Apply sunscreen everyday (seriously!) to face & body 20 mins before sun exposure.
Reapply every 2 hours or even more frequently after swimming, sweating or toweling.
Sunscreen should not be your first line of defense against the sun.
Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Seek shade. Wear protective clothing, hat and sunglasses when outdoors.
HOW MUCH:
FACE & NECK - 1/4 tsp
EACH AREA (ARM, LEG, BACK) - 1 tsp
For more information, see TGA guidelines on safe use of sunscreens.
CAUTION:
External use only. Do not use on broken or damaged skin, Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if signs of irritation appear.
Check out our page on SPF for more info.
How to store
- You can place the spatula on top of your jar or tin when not in use.
- Our spatula also fits horizontally inside our tin, just below the opening, under the ridge.
- Good for transporting if you're worried about losing the spatula.
DIRECTIONS:
- Go in with spatula on an angle.
- Place stick end of spatula just under the ridge, slide spatula/spoon end up towards opening until it 'clicks' and sits snug in one of the grooves.
- To remove spatula, just do the reverse. Hold onto it while pushing down on spatula/spoon side to dislodge it.
