Save on shelf space. Store our sunscreens upright with this clever tube holder made from recycled wood that would otherwise go to landfill. Each tube holder is lovingly hand made by the members of Ellenbrook Men’s Shed. They have been so supportive of our project from the start and we are very grateful for them. Proceeds from this purchase supports their community.
Men Sheds are a “community-based, non-profit, non-commercial organization that is accessible to all men and whose primary activity is the provision of a safe and friendly environment where men are able to work on meaningful projects at their own pace in their own time in the company of other men. A major objective is to advance the well-being and health of their male members”. (Australian Men’s Shed Association)
HOW TO DISPOSE: General waste bin or Verge bulk waste collection.
Majority of the wood at Ellenbrook Men’s Shed is donated from organizations and the general public. It is hard to determine whether the wood has been treated with preservative chemicals or untreated. As such, we recommend disposing of the wood in your general waste bin and not the green bin or home compost. Thank you.

Our sunscreen is made entirely in Australia which has one of the highest standards for sunscreen in the world. We're legit, we're TGA certified and approved.

We care ALOT about our planet including our oceans, hence why our sunscreen is Reef Safe and Plastic Free. It comes in a fully aluminium tube and cap (genius!), so recycling it is super easy. For more info, see our page on Sustainability.
This Ocean Friendly sunscreen does not contain any of the following ingredients:
NO Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, Octocrylene, Homosalate, PABA, Parabens, Nano particles, Microplastics, 4-MBC, Triclosan, Sulphates SLS/SLES.
Our gentle formula makes it safe for the whole family!
NO PABA, Parabens, BHA/BHT, Benzene, Petroleum, Palm Oil, Mineral oils, Silicones D4/D5/D6, GMO, Talc and Phthalates.
Apply everyday (seriously!) to face & body 20 mins before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours or after swimming, sweating or towelling. Avoid prolonged sun exposure. Wear protective clothing, hat and sunglasses when outdoors.
HOW MUCH:
FACE - 1 pea size blob or 1/4 tsp should do it.
FACE & NECK - 2 pea size blob or 1/2 tsp.
You should see a nice & light sheen. If you see whiteness, there might be too much there, spread it.
STORAGE:
Store below 30°C, preferably in a cool dark place (away from the spiders or anything that kills ya here in Straya).
Wrap it in a towel or place it in your bag when outdoors. Treat it like a soft drink can.
HOT TIP : Put it in your esky when you're at the beach, apply cold to face and voila! SPF Facial. You're welcome :)
CAUTION:
External use only. Do not use on broken or damaged skin, Avoid contact with eyes. Discontinue use if signs of irritation appear.

Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide 227.5mg/g
Inactive: Medium chain triglycerides, castor oil, coco-caprylate, candelilla wax, coconut oil, polyglyceryl-3 polyricinoleate, isostearic acid, tocopherol acetate.
INGREDIENTS:
Zinc Oxide 227.5mg/g - Like a bouncer at a busy club, it lets the good in but stops the bad. It protects you from the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays.
Medium Chain Triglycerides - Fatty acids derived from coconut - this lightweight moisturizer will keep your skin hydrated throughout the day.
Castor Oil - Made from castor seeds, it is high in antioxidants and has antibacterial properties. Preventing early wrinkles and fighting acne. Yeay!
Coco-Caprylate - Another plant based moisturizer that softens and soothes the skin when its feeling a lil bit angst.
Candelilla Wax - A plant based wax that keeps our sunscreen feeling nice and lux, not hard and pasty.
Coconut Oil - Chock full of healthy fatty acids to rejuvenate and repair your skin. Good for popcorn too.
Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate - Besides being our new fave tongue twister, this natural emulsifier made from castor beans binds our sunscreen so it doesn't separate into an oily mess!
Isostearic Acid - Another plant based binder so our sunscreen spreads easily without feeling oily. Gentle on the skin with a light powder after feel.
Tocopheryl Acetate - But we all know her as Vitamin E. A powerful antioxidant that prevents free radical damage on the skin i.e. slows down aging. YASSSS.

FAQ
How long does it last?
Great question! Our sunscreens have a 3 year shelf life. Our unique formula contains no water which means it last longer than most commercial sunscreens. Please see crimp of tube for expiry date.
Is this sunscreen vegan & cruelty free?
100% YES! Our sunscreen contains no animal products and we will never ever EVER test our sunscreen on animals. Unless you count our friend Matt who is abit wild and hairy.
Is this safe for babies and kids?
YASS. Sunslayer is safe for babies above 6 months of age, children and those with sensitive skin. As with any new product, we recommend a patch test first to check for any sensitivity.
What about babies under 6 months of age?
Well, the TGA and Australasian College of Dermatologists recommend minimising the use of sunscreen on babies less than 6 months of age by using only on small portions of the body that can’t be covered by clothing and shade. Again, always spot check first.
Can I use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
YES - our sunscreen is safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding. Your skin might be sensitive during this time (thanks hormones) so it's good to use a natural physical sunscreen like ours.
However we advise that you speak to your doctor first before starting any new skincare routines or if you have any concerns.
